Rife frequency therapy uses a device that generates specific electromagnetic frequencies, based on a simple premise: everything in your body has a frequency, and a matching frequency can prompt a response from it. I offer it in my office as one supportive part of a larger, personalized plan, and I also build custom protocols for people who own their own True Rife machine, wherever they are. Either way, every protocol is read from your own biofeedback rather than pulled from a standard list. This page explains the idea behind it, what a session is actually like, how I decide what to run, and, just as honestly, what the evidence does and does not show.
I'm Kyla Phillips, a registered nurse with over 20 years of experience. I've worked with biofeedback and frequency tools since 2016. Rife has a long, complicated history and a lot of noise around it, so I want to explain it the way I would in session: plainly, including the parts I can't claim.
Everything in your body has a frequency
Start with the premise, because everything else rests on it. Everything in your body is energy and frequency first. Your cells, your organs, and your nervous system all carry measurable electrical activity. Your heart runs on a rhythm a monitor can read. Your brain does too. The body is electrical before it is chemical.
Here's the picture I use. Think of an opera singer holding exactly the right note until a glass across the room starts to hum, and if she holds that note, the glass can shatter. She isn't doing it by being loud. She's found the glass's own frequency, and matching it is what moves it. That matching has a name. It's called resonance. Every object has a frequency it will respond to, and when an outside frequency meets it, energy transfers.
That principle is what Rife frequency work is built on. Royal Raymond Rife, the inventor it's named for, spent his life from the 1920s onward building instruments and searching for the frequencies that matched what he was studying. The premise he was chasing is the one above: if everything in the body has a frequency, then the right matching frequency can get a response from it.
What a Rife session is actually like
There is nothing dramatic to it, and that's by design. Rife runs on equipment in my office, so you come in, get comfortable, and the device runs a programmed sequence of frequencies while you rest near it. There's nothing you need to do. Most people read, relax, or talk with me while it runs. About half of people feel some tingling or light sensations in the body while it's going, and the other half feel nothing at all. Both are normal.
Afterward, you might feel a little tired, and some people notice changes in their bowel movements for a few days. If that happens, the main thing is to drink plenty of water. How long and how often is set by your protocol and paced to what your body can comfortably handle, so it fits your energy and your life. I offer Rife sessions in my office to established clients, on the days I'm in.
How I decide which frequencies to run
This is the part that makes my approach different, and it's the same thread that runs through everything I do. I don't hand you a standard frequency list or pick programs off a menu. I read your body first.
Using biofeedback, the same testing I use to build your supplement protocol, I let your body show me where it's asking for support and in what order. What I'm really looking for is a frequency match: the frequencies that line up with what your body's energy is showing. I read that from your biofeedback, whether that's live in my office or from your saliva sample, because your information is carried in your energy and your DNA, the same signature I work from for the rest of your testing. Your Rife protocol comes out of that reading, which frequencies, how often, and for how long, sequenced by your body's own priorities rather than a generic template. It's built for you, the way everything else in your plan is.
That is really the whole idea of my practice in one line. I read the body's signals instead of applying a protocol designed for someone else. A frequency list on its own is just a list. Your body is what tells me which parts of it actually matter for you. Here's how the biofeedback reading works →
If you already own a True Rife machine
A number of my clients come to me already owning a True Rife machine. They bought the device, then found themselves looking at thousands of preloaded frequency programs with no clear idea which to run, in what order, or for how long. That's the gap I fill.
You don't need me to sell you equipment or a frequency list. You already have both. What you want is someone to read your body and build a protocol from it, so the machine you own is working on your actual priorities instead of your best guess. The True Rife programming is built right into my biofeedback software, so I can read your body, build a protocol specific to your machine, and give you a clear schedule to run at home. This part is fully remote, and I do it with machine owners wherever they are. To start, book a new client biofeedback appointment and note on your intake form that you own a True Rife machine. That's a specific kind of work I'm glad to do.
What I can tell you, and what I can't
Now the honest part, because it's the part that matters most.
This is usually where a website hands you a list of frequencies and tells you what each one fixes. I'm not going to do that. As a nurse, there are claims I won't make on a public page, so here's the honest version instead.
What research supports: resonance is real, established physics. Objects have frequencies they respond to, and the body carries measurable electrical activity. None of that is in question.
What research does not support: that any specific frequency treats, kills, or cures anything in the human body. You'll read online that particular frequencies match particular pathogens, or particular illnesses. That belief is where a great deal of Rife enthusiasm comes from, and I understand why people hold it. But it has not been demonstrated in controlled study, so it is not something I can tell you is true, and it is not a claim I make.
What I can offer is what I've seen. Over thousands of sessions I've watched how bodies respond to this work, and I include Rife for some clients as one supportive part of a bigger plan, always chosen by their own biofeedback. It works alongside your medical care, never in place of it, and if what you need is a physician, I'll tell you so. I can tell you what I observe. I won't tell you what it treats. That line is where the integrity of this work lives, and holding it is the entire point.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is Rife frequency therapy?
Rife frequency therapy uses a device that generates specific electromagnetic frequencies. It's based on the premise that everything in the body has a frequency and that a matching frequency can prompt a response. In my practice it's one supportive part of a larger, personalized plan, offered in office, with every protocol built from your own biofeedback results rather than a standard list.
Is there evidence that Rife works?
Here's the honest split. The physics of resonance is real and well established, and the body carries measurable electrical activity. What has not been demonstrated in controlled study is that any specific frequency treats, kills, or cures anything in the human body. I don't make that claim. What I can share is what I've observed over thousands of sessions, offering it as one supportive piece of a bigger plan.
What is a Rife session like?
Calm and low-key, by design. You get comfortable in my office while the device runs a programmed sequence of frequencies near you, and there's nothing you need to do. About half of people feel some tingling or light sensations while it runs, and half feel nothing at all. Both are normal. Afterward you might feel a little tired, and some people notice changes in their bowel movements for a few days, so drink plenty of water. The length is set by your protocol.
How do you decide which frequencies to run?
I read your body first, using biofeedback, the same testing I use to build your supplement protocol. Your body shows me where it's asking for support and in what order, and your Rife protocol comes out of that reading rather than a generic template. It's built for you, not pulled from a list designed for someone else.
I own a True Rife machine. Can you help me use it?
Yes, and it's work I genuinely enjoy. Many people buy the machine and then face thousands of preloaded programs with no idea which to run or in what order. The True Rife programming is built right into my biofeedback software, so I can read your body, build a protocol specific to your machine, and send you a clear schedule to run at home. It's fully remote, wherever you are. To start, book a new client biofeedback appointment and note on your intake form that you own a True Rife machine.
Is Rife available remotely?
It depends which part you mean. The Rife sessions I run on my own equipment are in office, for established clients, on the days I'm in. Building a protocol for your own True Rife machine is different, and it's fully remote. Because the True Rife programming is built into my biofeedback software, I can read your body, build a protocol specific to your machine, and send you a schedule to run at home, working with machine owners wherever they are. To start that, book a new client biofeedback appointment and note that you own a machine on your intake form.
Does Rife treat specific conditions?
No. I don't use Rife to diagnose, treat, or cure any condition, and I don't make claims about specific illnesses. It's one supportive tool inside a personalized wellness plan and works alongside your medical care, not in place of it.
How to start
Two ways in. If we already work together and you'd like to add Rife, book a session or mention it at your next one. If you're new, or you own your own True Rife machine, start as a new client and we'll build your protocol from there.
